Eco Party Box has a small TABLEWARE PARTY PACK FOR 5 CHILDREN to suit the more intimate children's parties. 

The pack includes

5 x medium oval sugarcane plates

5 x extra small round sugarcane cake plates

5 x wooden sporks

10 x bamboo lunch size napkins

5 x 4oz/120ml art series single wall bio cups (current design as seen in photo)

 

This pack was put together for small children in mind. The oval plates could even be used for the parents as small children tend to be small eaters. 

 

Sugarcane Plates

Sugarcane is suitable for the home compost and recyclable in kerb-side recycling.

Complies with Australian Standard for Home Compostability AS5810 and the Australian Standard for Commercial Compostability AS4736. This means they will break down into usable soil via a commercial composting facility as well.

Commercial composting is not widely available in Australia. Contact your council to find out if it is available for you. If you are from South Australia you can notify your council to let them know you are placing commercially compostable tableware in your green organics bin as this service is available throughout SA.

The manufacturing process for these products uses less energy and emits less pollution than petroleum-based products. It also generates fewer greenhouse gases.

 

Wooden Sporks

Wooden Sporks are made from FSC certified Birchwood. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council™) is the industry benchmark for sustainably managed wood and wood products. The FSC™ label means that wood has been harvested to benefit communities, wildlife, and the environment. They are compostable in a home compost and commercial compost. They will biodegrade and will not pollute or damage the environment. 

 

Cups

They are commerically compostable to Australian standards (AS4736) and comply with American standard ASTM D6868 and European standard EN 13432 for compostability and is ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 certified. This means they will break down into usable soil via a commercial composting facility.
